The Panto Academy is the educational branch of The Panto Theatre, created to introduce children and teens to the exciting world of British Pantomime through hands-on performance training. Over the course of each academy session, students develop acting, singing, movement, stage presence, teamwork, and confidence while rehearsing a full pantomime production.
Unlike a traditional theatre class, every student becomes part of the cast. They learn directly from experienced theatre professionals in a fun, supportive environment where creativity is celebrated and every performer has the opportunity to shine.
The academy concludes with a fully staged public performance, giving students the unforgettable experience of performing for a live audience and sharing the magic they’ve created together.
Whether your child is stepping onto a stage for the very first time or already loves performing, The Panto Academy is a place to grow, make friends, build confidence, and experience the joyful traditions of British Pantomime.

We are only offering 10 scholarships for the 2027 Academy Classes. The scholarship request form will close January 24th. You will receive an email on scholarship decisions January 25-30th.

Jack and the Beanstalk
Welcome to Panto Academy, The Panto Theatre’s signature summer theatre education program! Designed for aspiring young performers, Panto Academy offers a unique opportunity to discover the magical world of British Pantomime while preparing and performing a fully staged production of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Over the course of three exciting weeks, students will develop skills in acting, movement, comedy, character development, stage presence, teamwork, and performance while learning the history and traditions that make British Pantomime one of the world’s most beloved theatrical art forms. Through daily rehearsals and hands on instruction, students will work together to bring Jack and the Beanstalk to life for a live audience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Academy Hours: 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
Lunch Break: 12:00 PM-12:30 PM
Tuition: $175 for the first student
10% discount for each additional sibling registered from the same household

What Students Will Accomplish
Throughout Panto Academy, students will:
